The India AI Impact Summit 2026, held from February 16–21, 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, concluded with the adoption of the New Delhi Declaration on AI Impact, endorsed by 92 countries and international organisations. Venture capital firms General Catalyst and Lightspeed Venture Partners committed USD 5 billion and USD 10 billion respectively.

India achieved a Guinness World Record for the "Most pledges received for an AI responsibility campaign in 24 hours," with over 2.5 lakh validated pledges. India also announced expansion of its sovereign AI compute capacity — building on 38,000+ GPUs already provisioned under the IndiaAI Mission, an additional 20,000 GPUs will be added. The Declaration was guided by the principle of "Sarvajan Hitaya, Sarvajan Sukhaya" and the three Sutras of the Summit: People, Planet, and Progress. Thirteen leading global and Indian frontier AI developers also announced the New Delhi Frontier AI Impact Commitments.
